Junior Teams

Cub Ball

A fun introduction to baseball for kids from 4 to 7 years old and their families. At Cub Ball the focus is on fun, fun and more fun.

We also work on developing teamwork, catching, throwing, hitting skills and basic baseball knowledge.

Games are club based at McLeod Park.

Minor League (10)

Minor League is the perfect grade to develop skills while learning about the game of baseball. For 8 to 10 year olds, it is a semi-competitive grade where kids train and play in a comfortable and fun environment against clubs from all over Auckland.

Played with a softer ball, this is real baseball – you’ll hit, field, pitch and play catcher while learning all the skills you need.  Games are on Saturday at various fields throughout the city

Major League (12U)

Major League is a step up from Minors, and is played to the Little League rules. It is a competitive grade against other Clubs within the Auckland Baseball Association. Players will focus on positional development, and will continue to learn fundamentals across the game. It will be the first time Players can trial for an Auckland Representative Squad being the Little League Majors Team.

Games are played on Saturday afternoon’s at various fields throughout Auckland.

Intermediate League (13U)

The 13U Intermediate League is another step up from Major League and is played to the Little League 50/70 rules. It is a competitive grade against all other clubs within the Auckland Baseball Association. Whilst still playing on a junior diamond, the focus moves to positional development with players emerging as pitchers, catchers, infielders and outfielders, while striving for club, national and even international honours!

Junior League (14U)

The 22/23 season sees the introduction of the Junior League grade, with teams across Auckland competing against each other. The focus is on positional development, and players will emerge as pitchers, catchers, infielders and outfielders.

There is still an opportunity to trial for Little League Representative teams, and also to compete for West City at the National Champs.

Senior League (16U)

These competitive grades allow players to enjoy the game of baseball while
striving for club, national and even international honours! With a focus on
positional development, players emerge as pitchers, catchers, infielders and outfielders.

Experienced coaches, skilled umpires and great facilities provide the
backdrop for exciting baseball.

Games are played on Saturdays and may include mid-week evening games at
various fields throughout the city.
