Rookie Ball (8U) FREE
A fun introduction to baseball for kids from 4 to 7 years old and their families. Children will be placed into either 4 & 5 years or 6 & 7 years. At Rookie Ball the focus is on fun, fun and more fun.
We also work on developing teamwork, catching, throwing and hitting skills and baseball knowledge.
Games are club based at McLeod Park.
Minor League (10U)
Minor League is the perfect grade to develop skills while learning about the game of baseball. For 8 to 10 year olds, Minor League is a semi-competitive grade where kids train and play in a comfortable and fun environment against clubs from all over Auckland.
Played with a softer ball, this is real baseball – you’ll hit, field, pitch and play catcher while learning all the skills you need.
Games are on Saturday at various fields throughout the city
Intermediate League (13U)
The 13 & Under Intermediate League is a step up from Minor League and is played to the Little League 50/70 rules. It is a competitive grade against all other clubs within the Auckland Baseball Association. Whilst still playing on a junior diamond, the focus moves to positional development with players emerging as pitchers, catchers, infielders and outfielders, while striving for club, national and even international honours!
Senior League (16U)
These competitive grades allow players to enjoy the game of baseball while striving for club, national and even international honours! With a focus on positional development, players emerge as pitchers, catchers, infielders and outfielders.
Experienced coaches, skilled umpires and great facilities provide the backdrop for exciting baseball.
Games are played on Saturdays and may include mid-week evening games at various fields throughout the city.
